Clear Blue Media led the way in Devon by designing web sites to high standards laid down by W3C and WAI

The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) is an international consortium where Member organizations, a full-time staff, and the public work together to develop Web standards. W3C mission is:

"To lead the World Wide Web to its full potential by developing protocols and guidelines that ensure long-term growth for the Web."

What does this mean for you?
By meeting the highest levels of W3C validity you can achieve the following:

  • You allow the maximum amount of visitors to access your pages
  • By having no errors in the coding Search engines can index your pages better
  • By having no errors in the coding your site will look the same in most devices
  • Combine this with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) you have very little HTML code

We design all our web sites to W3C recommendations and we code using XHTML Strict which is the highest level to validate coding.. By designing to this level we maximise the visitors and search engine friendliness. We are also ensuring the same functionality across various browsers and operating systems.
